Fall A: August 13 – October 4, 2019 (12 hours/week)

Academic Writing/Grammar 201 gives students a foundation to ensure they master not only the steps in the writing process, but also language essential for academic writing. In this course, you will learn and practice writing effective sentences, as well as the steps in writing descriptive, opinion, and compare and contrast paragraphs.

Academic Speaking/Vocabulary 211 is a practical online course that helps students master basic speaking skills in an academic setting. The course encourages intermediate students to speak with confidence as they interact with other students and teachers.

Academic Writing/Grammar 301 is designed to build a foundation for academic level coursework. This course is for intermediate, non-native speakers of English who plan to attend a university in the United States and need to master academic reading and writing skills. 

Academic Speaking/Vocabulary 311 is a practical course that builds a foundation for researching information and giving presentations in an academic setting.

Academic Writing/Grammar 401 is designed to further build a foundation for college level essay writing.  This course is for high-intermediate, non-native speakers of English who plan to attend a university in the United States and need to master academic reading and writing skills. 

Fall B: October 14 – December 6, 2019 (12 hours/week)

Academic Writing/Grammar 301 is designed to build a foundation for academic level coursework. This course is for intermediate, non-native speakers of English who plan to attend a university in the United States and need to master academic reading and writing skills. 

Academic Speaking/Vocabulary 311 is a practical course that builds a foundation for researching information and giving presentations in an academic setting.
